Default tranny problem

so myfriend crashed my 98 integra and messed up the driver side rims and fenders. but i replace it and now the car wouldnt move. i can put it in gears all smoth but the car itself doesnt move.. the mph moves as if the car is moving but it just doesnt move. what you guys think the problem is.

If the mph is going up, the sensor in the tranny is picking up gear movement...it must be your axles.

i checked the axles and it looks fine. its all the way in and everything.

axle could have came out and sheared the splines off the shaft. happen to me one time doing a swap. thought the axle was locked in but wasnt. may want to pull the drive axle out. could also pull the axle and stick your finger inside the trans and feel the splines in there, could also have sheared off in there.if thats not it, looks lie your (friend) gonna be paying for a tranny and not the kind with a *****, perfect time to upgrade to a type r trans

man now the same thing happen to me yesterday. i am hopeing its the axles and not the tranny.

Definitely pull the axles out and check the splines along with the CV joints. You could have sheard the splines on the axle itself. Thing is...I would expect you to hear some grinding...?

ok i just lifted my car and the passenger side axles is half way out and there is what it seems like tranny fluid under the car. i am gonna put the axle back in and check if there is anyfluid in there and put some if there isnt any. i am hoping the tranny is still good. fingers crossed.

It should be fine. With the axle out, the trans thinks it's done a one tire burnout
