Default Tranny Help!

Hey there just wondering if you guys could help me decide which tranny i should go with, i currently am putting down 194whp and have gone to the track a few times and have been pretty dissapointed running consistant 15.1 and 15.2's in the 1/4 mile although my trap speeds are in the 95-97mph range which should net me atleast a low 14 second pass with slicks or maybe lower?.....i do find myself spinning all through first gear and when i went it was on my 17's with falken ziek tires which aren't that great...i've been told that my tranny has quite a bit to do with my poor 1/4 mile times so this is why im asking which one to go with..... ive looked into two different types either the JDM Y1 which i believe comes out of a b16a1 and the b17a GSR YS1 tranny which is found in the '92-'93 GSR's my car is a '92 Integra which of course sports a cable system...let me know what you guys think or if you have any info leading to my dilema.

thanks again guy's,

this is on an LS right?
the b16 isnt going to have the gearing for a more torque-y car, go with either an ITR or GSR, which were meant for b18 torque. you can get a cable to hydro converter i believe.... if i'm wrong dont shoot me. it would also be beneficial to get an LSD.

Go with the ys1 first of all the gear ratio for this car is 1st 3.307 2nd 2.105 and 3rd 1.458 and for the type r its 3.230 but 2nd and 3rd are the same, the problem with the jdm trannys like the b16 for ex. is that if you blow that tranny parts are a bitch to get even if you can get the, but the ys1 92-93 gsr you can get parts for it easily due to it being a usdm tranny, i would go with the ys1 and if youhave the cash get an lsd for that extra traction. also you can;t use a type r trannt due to it being a hyrdo tranny and there isn't a hydro to cable tranny conversion kit they only have cable to hydro kit. But yeah go with YS1 its a good tranny but if you are going turbo for any reason get an ls trannny oh actualy you have a ls tranny so i would keep just in case.
