you cant really make power at the same time save gas. it doesnt go hand and hand. more power equals less gas mileage. more gas mileage means less power. when i went to pep boys to inquire about it, they said most of the tornados bought were returned sooner or later.

its complete crap. it does nothing. ford did the same kind of thing on the early 32v 4.6 v8's there was a little hump in the head near the intake valves. it was for emissions. you had to grind it down to get more power. it was only effective because it was right at the intake valves. this thing sits way upstream in the airflow and does nothing but restrict air and get in the way.

cliffs: it sucks. dont buy it.

Thank you 'Bill Nye The Science Guy'! I suppose you could pick up on the cynicism in my statement.

I Gained a WHOPPING 14 Wheel Horsepower and 17 ft-lb of TORQUE! its SO amazing. I usually don't take consideration into these things I see on t.v., but when I saw the TORNADO I knew I had to get my hands on one of these things. It made a world of a difference to me. Even my girlfriend thinks i'm speed racer now. Whenever I push on the throttle, she gets to turned on that she tells us to stop by my house for a little break . And just this weekend I ran at daytona and even Jeff Gordan wanted to drive my car. I stand behind this product 110%. If it can make me a believer, then it can make YOU a believer too!

If you have more power available to you it takes less work for the engine to reach a certain speed. If everything is done properly it will gain power and mileage. Thats why basic chips like jet, and hypertech are so popular. You silly goose.

Thank you,
My friend was getting horrible gas mileage on his Jeep and we were searching for anything to help it out. We built ourselves and intake and got rid of the stock airbox. Noticeable gas mileage increase and he says there is a touch more power there.

Oh yeah, the Tornado is worthless, don't get suckered.

has anyone tried it to honestly say that it sucks?

spoon has a header ventulli (sp) plate..now does that make power?

both seem to have the right concept but i dont know anyone with either of these parts.

A few years ago SCC did a test on it. It actually lost power on the dyno and hurt fuel mileage...

This is 100% incorrect. A more effecient car can yield better gas mileage. Even AEM intakes advertise better mileage, as the air coming into the manifold is cooler, thus more efficient (therefore providing more power and mileage). Do your research.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by redDAinteg &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I Gained a WHOPPING 14 Wheel Horsepower and 17 ft-lb of TORQUE! its SO amazing. And then you came back and wasted our time with this. You make a retarded post 3 posts later after your already incorrect post. Getting off to a great start. Id just read from now on unless you really have something intelligent to say in the Integra TECHNICAL forum.

Oh, and in regards to the Tornado, all of the power claims are best case bullshit scenarios, so dont bother. Buy some Chipotle or something.

Sorry don't mean to hijack the thread but what is a tornado? Is it some form of an intake?

Its the little fan looking thing you put in your intake to "magically swirl the air to make it enter the intake manifold in the most optimal fashion" - or as I like to call it "intake manifold blocker that breaks and gets pieces into the manifold and blows up engine".

Well, it is chrome plated...

I just have one question. When I see the commercial on TV, I wonder who in their right mind would actually go on camera and say it works? Are these people on crack?
