Hey guys,

I checked my engine oil level today when the engine was cold, and it was about 3 mm above the high mark. I started my car and let it run to normal temp, turned it off and checked again, it was right on the mark (a teeny little bit over). Is it k? Let me know, please damn, shouldn't have been so "greedy" when I was add it in.

 

its not a good thing to have it over but seeing how its a small amount it should not hurt, I would take a drop or three out but thats just me.

 

3mm over? I wouldn't worry about it. Contingency for error, in many cases +/-25%. 3 mm is probably just around a fourth of a quart.
