Im about to buy a new set of tires and i was thinking of going with 215-40-17 but the guy at the Tire Rack says it might rub. So he suggested going with the 205-40-17. What do you guys think.. will it rub? Does anyone know?

The tires are Yokohama Paradas.
Oh and I drive a 99 Ls.

 

depends on how low you are. I stayed with 205-45-16 instead of 215-40-16 becauase of weight issues...and that I would rub. I'm about 1.75" closer to the ground than stock.
