Timing Problems
Okay.....We have the bottom pully mark alined with the mark on the front cover. The two arrows are pointing up on the cam pullys , the two marks on the edge of the cam pullys are also aligned. But.... the engine is locking on about a half turn or less. The cam belt is tight. Why is it locking?
it doesnt matter which way i turn it. all i did was put a water pump with a larger pully on it. I marked everything in red befor i took the belt off, now all the marks line up, but it still locks
Did you remove the spark plugs, compression can sometimes be a bitch. And only rotate the crank pulley counter clockwise. And you are using the white line on the crank pulley to line up right?
