Default timing belt

my wife has a 96 teg ls,i need to replace the timing belt, how do i loosen the crank pulley bolt?i was thinking using a breaker bar with the right socket and bump-start the engine to loosen it but,i think the engine turns counter-clockwise so i'm confused as to how to loosen it.help!

Impact wrench man. Seriously, if you don't have an air compressor, go to HarborFreight.com and get a plug-in electric one.

put the car in gear and have someone press on the brake pedal...while you use a VERY long breaker bar...longer the better
