so when my engine is running, i hear a " Tic Tic Tic ... etc. " noise

One of my friends said its my lifters, but is there any way i can check or is it cuz of the sound

Adjust your valves

 

um... ya been thinkin of that for the past 3mins... How do u do that ??

I wouldn't go adjustin your valves if your not familiar with internal engine components. take it somewhere and have it done.

 

valve lash adjustment i would think.

that happened to me too today. i was backing up out of a parking stall.

i have the same problem, but it's not the valves. if it's really loud, most likely it is the lifters or the rocker assembly.. whatever that is. i also read something about lost motion assemblies making noise? i don't know, i just learned to live with it. i know my valves are alright 'cause we adjusted them to spec.

 

try a valve adjustment..there are write ups on here. its relatively straightforward.
