throttle cable question
it might sound dumb but i dropped a 98 gsr motor in my 96 LS, got all hooked up but how should i run my throttle cable into the throttle body on the gsr intake, keep the cable mounted in the same place as i ran it on my ls cause looks as if i have to move it, but when i unmounted it and ran it behind the intake, it is to long and there is a lot of slack, please let me know how you have done it or what the solution is to this problem, gay aZZ gsr intakes, thanx
well let first say...LS tb's cable runs across Intake manifold right?

look at the picture...option #2 is for stock gsr tb's and cable....you ahve to route it that way...and make a U turn to firewall...
option #1 is for type intake manifold or SKunk2 or BLOx Im...let say if you have Skunk IM you still can use option #2 but the gsr bracket the hold the tb's cable is hella hihg it might hit ur hood....so most people use option #1 for Skunk2 Im but if you do u need to buy Type R cable and bracket...
