Is there any information as to how I should adjust my throttle cable to spec? I have an ITR cable with bracket, for my SK2 mani., and the gas pedal is really loose i.e, need to depress more.

So do I just adjust to my liking or does it matter otherwise? Thanks guys.

theres not really much to it. you just use the adjusting nut to set it to the proper tension. you can pretty much get it as tight as you like, just make sure the throttle plate is at its rest/closed position. if you adjust it too tight, it will idle high. that should set off the light in your head that it needs to be adjusted. just play around with it. youll find what you like.
