Default Thinking about getting an Integra

I DD an Accord, Honda maniac, I'm selling my RX7 and I'm looking to get an Integra, however I don't know what year. Im thinking something OBDI for the simplicity of engine swaps but ultimately I just want something fun I can take to college and turbocharge without much problem. I like integras because it seems like any Honda engine swaps in fairly easily, b16s, b18s, and of course it has the mighty b18c5 =p someday.

Anyway, End Goal: Have a fun car thats turbocharged and fairly fast so I can take it to the strip/track every few months but really just have a ball with it all the time. Is the integra right for me? Also which year(s) should I look for, I also want leather and power doors/windows, its not ***** to the wall race.

Well, if you NEED leather. You'll need to get a 3g (94-01) Integra. The GSR has this trim. I'm partial to the 90-93. I think their body styles are alot cleaner, their lighter too.

Ultimately, it's your call. Hit up the AC forum for pics of each.

I don't know if an integra is right for you. I love mine, but I also love rx-7s for the reason they have RWD, great weight distribution and a rotary engine. The rotary engine is also one of the reasons I still don't own one! Anyways, all integras come with popular b series and whether a b18b/c1/c5 they all react well to forced induction and are very reliable. Since you want leather and power doors you want to look into GSRs. OBD1 is from 94-95 on DC (94-01) Integras...

I love my 99 GSR....they're fairly abundant and it is still possible to find them with low mileage...also, 98-01 are my favorite year Tegs because i love the way they look...

Sums up to a.... 1994 Gs-R? Owning two Tegs already I really like the 94-97 better.

Well, it dosen't need leather, I could/would do racing seats. I don't like the RX7 because parts are a bitch, nobody has them/the forum is nothing but stupid reposts whining about turboing the NA and 3800 rpm hesitation problems. I don't care much about weight distribution, for my purposes thats nothing tires/suspension modifications can't fix. I just want something fun and fairly fast, and I really want to do/drive my first turbo car.

Does the GSR engine in the 94-95 cars take to turbo charging very well?

they all do....also one of your concerns was the OBD1 vs OBD2 engines...to change between the two only requires a $75 harness...pick whichever year GSR you like the best and that fits your budget, worry about OBD1 vs OBD2 later...

no, and more 2dr coupes were produced than 4dr sedans... SEARCH. You should go test drive an Integra to see if you like it.
