Default Is There a Problem With this idea...?

I got a hold of 2 bad door handles from a friend who is going to scrap his 4 door integra. I was wondering...since I have some next money....~$800 Should I go and get a set of rims and drop my car? My friend showed me a integra (my year, 92 integra 2 door) which was lowered and had 4 white rims. Is this going to cause problems? Is this a waste of money?

EDIT: to answer your original question..Yes there is a problem with that...

Sorry that was a screwup on my part. He he doesnt have the rims. He has 4 wheels. Hehe.

As for the doors, I know it will cost a lot so I'm planning to put that off until next paycheck. Next pay is in 2-3 weeks. :/

Dude, you're seriously confusing me with the door handle thing. Are you saying that you have bad door handles? Then get them fixed...what's the point of having a nice looking car that you can't open and get into. Do the other stuff later; and don't get white rims...they look tacky IMO.

I think he is trying to say if it is worth making his 2dr Teg into a 4dr.
You possibly just about do it, but whats the point? When they make a 4dr.

I think he's trying to ask is he should get his door handles fixed first or maybe get the rims from his friend while he has the chance ??? Or I could be way off

If you're asking whether to repair your car or mod it first, then definetly fix what's broken before you try to make it better.
Second, lowering with wheels is just like anything else in life; moderation. If you plan on being a stunna and dropping it 3 inches on 18's then press ctrl+alt+del now. Don't lower it too much and don't put wheels on that are too big. If you're going to lower it do it because you want your car to handle better not look better. You will need proper shocks and possibly a camber kit when you lower it, it's not just springs.

i think you should slow down, think about what you want to ask, and then slowly type it out in complete sentences. Its hard to answer a question that you can understand.

EX:
lets say the president is like over there, and so i want a new car, then i changed my oil. candy taste good. How come?

this is a bad question!

seriously.. after reading everyones responses and the original post, i still do not have any idea what he's talkin about and what advice he's seeking... i'm not alone rite?

And after wasting 2 minutes of my time readin this, i have come to one conclusion; Honda-Tech needs to start using an entrance exam. Something so that we can maintain a minimum level of literate competency and intelligence.

I only say that because I hate people that ruin a suspension with cut springs or crappy springs that sit too low and no shocks to match. Then when you tell them their suspension is worse than stock they say "Yeah but it looks good."
I agree that a lowered car looks better but it's important to do it right.
