Just wondering, how are you 100% sure that those were the parts stolen. They are very common parts. And how do you know that the owners of the cars werent the ones that stole the parts? You dont have enough proof that they did it and its not right to tell everyone that "THEY ARE THE THIEVES". Dont take it the wrong way. I hate thieves too. They broke into my car several times and stole stuff off it. I just dont think its right that you say they are the ones. Good luck on the investigating though. Hope you get them.
yea those guys are a little fishy..i met one at a gas station one day still got his card..and he was stressign me about coming down there and show them my car...the guy knows i have a b20/vtec motor and just started stressing me about bringing my car to the shop
I don't doubt this, those guys are really shady. A few weeks back I met a guy that used to work there and he was bragging about having a Stolen Type-R Tranny in his hatchback with shaved vin #. Everyone at New Again is a crack head, their prices are sky high and they all think their the ****. I'd love to burn down their shop
Good Luck getting your stuff back and getting even.

hell yea man take the thieves down. i just have one question, if u can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that they r your parts, how can the cops say u have no evidence? if theres no doubt isnt that enough evidence? i hate thieves so i hope you get these guys.
i dont know about you guys but i know what my parts look like . so if i seen them on another car i would definetly know they were mine , and that would mean ***- beating time .
i hope you guys get your parts back
i hope you guys get your parts back
there are some things you can do on some parts....
say you have a set of seats...before you put them in the car...have someone sow your name and phone number on them, in a hidden location...and take a pic for proof...and a pic with them in the car.
say you get a new valve cover....on the inside..have your name and phone number stamped in...take a pic...and take a pic on the motor..
strut bars...underneath...carve or stamp name and phone number...pics..
header...same thing...pics..
obiously there are some parts that this would be hard to do. But you get the idea. Its just a pre-cautionary thing, i always keep reciepts, and copies, take pics new in the box, out the box, pic with the product and reciept(closeup), and a pic with it on the car..Pics of everything, along with some of these ideas, will go a long ways.
the he said - she said bull **** will stop, if they are asked by cops to look at the parts. You tell the cop, if thats my valve cover, it will have my name and phone number stamped on the underside of it....Vwolllaaa...Um sirr, how come if this IS yours, this guy's name is stamped on it? Busted, you get your **** back.

recieved a phone call from a friend that recently got his car stolen roughly about two weeks ago. was told he has an idea that his parts are on a customers car at new again automotive in silver spring, md. i went ahead and took the the cut up harnesses that were left in his car when his seats were stolen up to new again. when i arrived i looked at the car that supposedly had his seats and his rims on it. i looked inside and sure enough on the seat there was a half cut harness. now when i installed my friends sparco seats i had bolted a portion of the waist belt to the bottom of the rail and that portion was cut and still bolted to the rails. do any of you guys smell anything phishy? not to mention when the customer came he had claimed that the car was there for one month when i asked the manager or whoever there for the invoice it was dated 3:21:2003 which makes the car only there for 6 days. now when i had asked him what the car was doing he had told me that it was doing a headgasket job and he even told the officer it would take him about a day to get it back together as he originally wanted to tow the car to the police impound to take the car apart and search for more stolen goods. well does it really take one month to do a headgasket? there is more to prove it is our goods but i wont disclose that as it could jeopardize my case. when his friend came up i also noticed that on his friends EG body civic my hood and my wing were on it. i can prove that as well. any of you NOVA guys tired of our cars getting stolen speak out. cops arent doing ****. we gotta do this ourselves.

As far as that shop is concerned, I hope you guys do get some justice if they are the guilty party. Just try not to do anything that would end up getting yourselves in serious trouble. I'd suggest keeping a very close eye on these guys, maybe even following some of them at night.....video tapes do wonders in court.
If all else fails, good luck with some street justice!!
hearing about a shop stealing stuff really pisses me off. ******* shady places should get shot up or something...i hope that your friend takes them down hard and they go to a federal-pound-me-in-the-***-prison
i use to live in nova and everyone was gettin their cars messed with, which scared me about mine. so i ended up movin to maryland, which isnt far but atleast outta that area.

I know a few R's have been stolen from the area recently, you might want to post a link to this thread in the ITR forum.
I hope some concrete evidence comes up - I hate to see shops like this selling/parading around/bragging about stolen parts, etc.

i came across this on another site but this sounds great. i live in NOVA and even go to the Annandale Campus for NVCC. i remeber hearing about that guys car, and what really sucks is that my BBS RX's were stolen off my car while it was at a friends house. if anyone gets anything on these guys post it.
