Default test pipe???

whats up my cat blew out yesterday and i need to buy a new one....i was thinking about getting a test pipe....im not worried aboout getting a ticket, im just worried about what m y car will sound like.....i dont care if its a lil louder but is it gonna make the car sound like ****...like a rattling sound or just plain sound like ****.....thanks for the replys in advance

Most of the test pipes my friends have on their cars make it sound like doodoo- loud and raspy- even sitting in the car-basically in my opinion they sound like crap for little gain unless you are doing the full I/H/C/E change-- and even then I'm not sure i would do it becuase of the sound- hope that helps.

Oh yeah- its doesn't rattle it just sounds like a cheapo exhaust right under your seat

just put a testpipe on my 96 teg and it sounds fine. It's really not that bad at all

If you wanna know how it sounds, just remove your stock muffler and then take your car for a test drive

i like my test pipe. I have a jdm 4-1, type R exhaust and test pipe and its not too loud at all unless i get on it. Around town its nice and quiet and theres not that bad smell that people complain about too

i do have a test pipe on my 98's gsr with supercharger, sounds very good and go faster. but sometime the check engin light will come out 'cause it's obd2 model. otherwise is ok...... good luck..

bought one from RevolutionsMotorsports or wherever, they are all over groupbuycenter.com

stainless too, it was like $75.

mine was a resonated testpipe, made the exhaust a bit louder and MUCH deeper with a ripper of a sound to it, wonderful stuff

test pipes are a cheap 2 HP i whent to my local parts store and bought all the parts for it had it weiled for under 20 and it looks A1. NO clamps to rattle and look like crap
