Temperature switch stuck!
Hey guys! I've been the proud owner of a 94 GSR for a little bit over a month now, and I'm still a little clueless about certains aspects of my car, so please bear with my noobyness.
And yes, I did search, but the results I recieved were a little vague and hard to interpret for a car novice.
Ever since I bought the car, the temperature switch has been stuck all the way to the right (hot). In my attempts to free the switch, the actual **** became detached from the whole lever, so its basically just sliding back and forth freely along the track. I was successful in being able to move the lever to almost the middle by sticking a small metal rod inside and trying to force it to move, where it now lies promptly stuck. I left it like this for awhile because my AC wasn't working due to not having an AC belt installed, but I recently got around to installing one, so now its gonna actually start to matter.
So I was wondering if there was any way to easily make it unstuck, and if there was any way I could reattach the **** back onto the lever? Thanks in advanced!

Sounds like the Heater Core coolant Valve is stuck.
In your engine bay underneath the intake manifold along the fire wall you will find the heater hose that attaches to the valve. This valve allows hot coolant to flow into your heater core and get your cabin warm when the blower motor is on. Your valve is probably stuck or the wires that control it may be jammed. I dont think your in cabin control panel is broken, unless you broke it trying to force it to the other side.

Most of these cars do that. I took the cable off my control unit and let it sit in WD40 over night. It's still a little tough to move, but I can live with it.
Another good idea is to quit acting like a four year old and grow some muscle.
