Tein Ss fitting?
I just recently Orderd Some Tein Ss for a 94 Integra ls. And the guy said i would need to Cut insde the rear tire well because of the strut not fitting, being it was to tall? and if that was the case would u reccomend professional instalation or do u think its easy enough for a group of 17 year olds to figure out in school autoclass? But i just want some input on others who have this installed and if their was any modifacations done to the tire well.
I never heard that you had to cut anything to install SS; I have installed SS on my car before, they fit perfectly....the instructions that come w/ the SS are pretty good, it shows you how to transfer everything over (in which order)....good luck.

Yeah, you don't have to cut anything (unless you are using a system for a different car or something). If you bought a 94-01 Integra (non-type r) you will not have to make any modifications to the fender well or anything like that. This guide should help a bit, even though it's for the non-adjustable Basics on a 96-00 Civic.

Btw, this should be the easiest suspension install ever, you don't have to worry about bumpstops or anything - just take off the stock top hats and use them, and stick any washers on that are related to the top hats. When doing the damping adjustment, turn it all the way to the right (hardest setting) and adjust down from there.

Thanks guys i guess the shops just want to make some money, Confusing the buys so they could do it. On average how long would it take to install all of them?
Since it's on a 94 Integra, you may have some issues with frozen LCA bolts and things like that. However, since you're doing it in auto shop, you may be alright since you will have many hands helping and air tools. I would guess about 2 hours for front and 2 hours for the rear. Oh yeah, don't forget to reuse the stock brakeline brackets on the Teins. Just knock them off with a screwdriver and hammer, and slide them onto the front Tein shocks, then slide them into the front drop forks.
