teggy shell
aiight so. im 15 and looking to buy my first car to start a project on. and i am not that monetarily inclined. so i think it will be cheaper to buy a shell and drop the engine in. instead of buying a running car and swapping. idk if this is true but the only problem is i dont know where to find used shells. i already tried ask.com can anyone help?
Try looking at craigslist for one.
Ebay for another(limit your area)
Maybe a local forum you have for your area
and also try http://www.hondamarketplace.com
For your area there also.

It could include anything. It should be in the description and of course you can always ask the seller.
If you want to do motor swaps and learn how to build a car... a shell is a great idea. Plus you are still young enough you don't have to worry about needing it to go somewhere.

well that depends on the seller, some sellers selling their shells with interier and suspesion and breaks which i think is called a rolling shell, and some just strip their cars to metal and call it a shell.

I kinda think that is what he wants to do. Fix his first car up himself.

I thought the same thing, that it would be cheaper, but that depends on what you consider cheap. when i first wanted a teg i went out and tried to find one but they were all out of my price range back when i was a broke ***, so i found a shell and picked it amd started buying parts, got lucky and found another one that was totaled that have every thing i need, i am in about 4gs with lots of extra parts, but with 4gs i coold have went out and bought one strait up but it wouldnt have the low miles mine has so in the end it is cheaper in one sence but if miles dont matter its cheaper to buy a whole, but you do learn alot building it your self
