Default Tail light problems (HELP)

I have a 95 teg and something is really wacky. For starters the driver side tail light is a lot brighter then the passenger side. When the running lights and or headlights are on and you hit the brakes the passenger tail light goes out all together but returns back to the running light when you take your foot off. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? It just started to do this out of the blue. I checked the ground in the trunk, bulb sockets and wiggled wires around but I have nothing. Please help.
Thanks everyone.

its most likely the tail light itself... a friends car did that same thing and she had to replace the taillight itself and after she did it worked fine... it had something to do with the electrical inside of the tail light housing itself...

u could try new bulbs or taking the tail light off and make sure the wires aren't loose.

Ok I have the tail light out and I see nothing wrong with. I did take it and plugged it in on the drivers side and that tail light is doing the same thing on that side. So I'm thinking the tail light. What do you think? Thanks everyone for your help .

didn't think there was any electrical items inside the taillight. Its just a housing. Your issue is in the wiring or the switch itself.
