Unless you have a GSR or one decently modded LS, you sould be using the lower grades anyways.

you can use either, but i would stick with 89..........there is no advantage to putting a higher octane gas unless you are running n2o or something like that

You run higher octane if the lower octane knocks, provides with rough idle, or engine run on.

It's not necessary to run higher octane, but it does give better mileage and response, and should be used on GSR + or a heavy modded ls/rs

It also keeps your engine running cleaner, and in canada, usually has more additives...like winter gas or tactrol

Seeing that you have a GS, I wouldn't bother putting in 91+ octane gas in it. Unless you're GS is heavily modded like FI or advanced timing, running 89 is just fine.

My idle was much better with 93, and it was a little more responsive (not enough to constitute buying it though).... if your engine can't burn it all you will have more carbon deposits is what i was told... don't know if its true though. If you are @ a junky gas station for SOME ODD REASON, I would get plus or premium just to be on the safe side... but I wouldn't go to a gas station aside from Amoco/BP... we don't have Sunoco's near me....

Pb foot- cool name.

I only buy BP. Why? Shell pay at the pumps are always broken, and all the rest suck. I have not set foot in a gas station in years...waitin in line to pay behind the "I need 4 cartons of cancer-sticks and $40 worth of lotto tix" It is the 21st century..no pay at the pump, no deal.

Lottery= A game for people who are bad in mathematics.

You should also use higher octane gas if your timing has been changed from stock settings...
