Default swaping gauges

Ok I just bought a new cluster and its on its way. Now my question is can I remove one gauge from one cluster to another. Let say i wanted to take the gas gauge from the one i bought and replace it with the one i already have. Does that make any sense. Basically can you easily remove and reinstall the entire gauge not just the face?

P.S. I know I have another thread like this but I felt the title wasnt really saying anything about the topic.

Yes you can. you'll have to take a couple things apart, but the individual guages will come out.

they will not need any calibration afterwards will they. Also would it be better to just change the mileage and make it the same as the cluster I have in my car.
