Default suspension setup

k ive searched quite a bit and havent found to much info yet. i have a 98 teg gs that i jut bought. i carried over neuspeed front upper and rear lower strut bars and a generic front lower tie bar from my del sol. the rest is stock. i am waiting for my z-10 radius arm kit and skunk 2 rear sway bar to come in the mail. on the sol i also had toyo proxes t1-s 205-50 15's agx and pro kit but i want coilovers for the teg for street, occasional 1/4 mile runs and track use. ive been lookin at the neuspeed/h&r/tanabe pro ss/apexi ws but wanted to know what you guys thought. future suspension plans are pretty much just new tires with the stock gs rims and that should be about it. just wanted to what you guys thought or if you had any other opinions

ive also considered tein btw and dampening adjustability isnt a must but its nice cause the roads kinda suck round here so i dont want a harsh ride

Ground controls, they use eibach springs and are the best bang for the buck. I use them in my two car, which i use at the track. Nothing but good things to say.

I would do a search for full suspension, this topic has been discussed many times, and also post this question over in the competition forum, they usually have some good insite for this sort of things, they are mostly track guys over there.

ive read just about every post concerning "coilover" and "suspension" on this board, hostboard, endyn, hybrid, and superhonda. im still lookin for more info. anyone use the neuspeed coilover setup, its $799 at neuspeed.com and made with bilstein shocks so it sounds good

If you're looking for a good true coilover then it's going to cost more the $1000. I have only used the Zeal B6 and Advanced Designs coilovers. Both are super quality coilovers (I prefer the Zeal) but it all depends on what you are trying to do with your suspension.

1. G3 Tegs come with coilovers.
2. Ground Controls work perfectly fine.
3. So do Bilsteins.

Here's my setup (used for autox, track [road course that is] and daily driving):
Bilstein HD Shocks/struts
GC ghetto threaded body adapters
Eibach ERS 450lb front springs
Eibach ERS 600lb rear springs
Comptech 22mm rear anti-sway bar
sp00n front and read strut tower bars

Car rotates nicely but is still controlable assuming you have some skill in controling oversteer in a fwd car.

i called and found our some spring rates of the ones ive been seriously considering

h&r f400 r265 $950 shipped from morepowerracing.com and you can get stiffer rears

neuspeed f535 r445 799 form neuspeed.com

progress f300 r200 1095 from contemporarymotorsports.com

and thought?? the progress seems kinda low the neuspeed seems kinda high but the rates seem to be good in relation to eachother

The neuspeed rates are a little too stiff in front for a street car IMO. Too bad the H&R's arent 350 in back

Out of those, I'd run the H&R's or neuspeeds.. the progress rates are too soft for my tastes.
