Default Suspension Help!?

I have a bone stock `95 Integra LS, and it handles like a wet noodle. I need some advice on what I should do to upgrade the suspension. I have VERY little knowledge of suspension, and even less about Integra suspension upgrades. Shock's, Springs, Sway bars, etc. If someone could tell me what I should buy, and where I should look to buy it at, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

It all depends on what you plan to do with the car (autocross, road race, or just want taut handling for your daily driving). If you want good handling, you don't need to lower it too much. If you can't buy shocks and springs together, then I'd buy shocks first. If you don't install yourself, then it will cost you more if you do one at a time. For a 95 LS a bigger sway bar should make a big difference, but it is not recommended that you use one larger than 19mm diameter until you upgrade springs. But ppl may have used the ITR sway bar with reinforcement brackets on otherwise stock suspension. If you're on a budget, a used set of ITR shocks (not too old of course) and springs work well. It's subjective whether or not the ride is too stiff for daily driving.

My suggestion: Why don't you do a thorough search first, you'll find plenty of info to give you some ideas, then ask more specific questions for the set up you desire. there's always tons of discussions about best shocks, etc. KYB AGX are pretty popular. Go to grassroots motorsports site (I don't have the url handy) and go to tech articles then look for one article about suspension, I forgot what the heading is (I think it's "shocks"). That helps you understand the relationship between shocks and springs.

I often check http://www.groupbuycenter.com for best prices, besides other places.

Tires are probably the first thing you'll want to do before you start modifying the suspension, esp. if you're still rolling on the stock Michelins. Springs/shocks...depends mostly on how low of a drop you want. As far as bars go, I'd recommend upgrading the front sway bar to a GS/GSR one (24mm), up from your 22?mm, and replace the rear sway with an ITR bar which is 22mm. Then there's strut bars...

A search will yield lots of good information.
