Ouch, hope you didnt shut your hood. Did you make sure every bolt was put back on it, and what about the bushings? How are they looking?

Yeah, you forgot to put one of those thick washers on the shock/strut shaft. You want to slide the washer on the shaft until it hits the part where it tapers wide. That way when you install the shock/strut, the washer will prevent it from moving past the shock tower.
