Thinkin about supercharging my LS. Don't suggest turbo because I am selling it in 3 years and this is just to add a little kick to it's power. Would a supercharged (auto) LS be able to beat a stock Camaro Z28? How much whp would I be lookin' at? And would it be worth it or should I just give up. I have I/H/E, cam gears, S-AFC

Anything is possible... you could beat an SS if he sleeps on the line and you dont'.. LOL

A supercharger will give you some kick.. jsut dont let people dis on you and get to you cause it's an auto and a small supercharger.. i say for for it...

 

You can make a good amount of power with a supercharger. Go to the Forced Induction Forum and talk to SCHYBRID he has a nice setup on his car.

 

An LS with IHE plus 6psi JRSC is not much faster top speed than my GSR with IE... Sounds real mean though.

Now if you put the CRV Crank pully on, and get that bitch up to 8+psi, now we have a little fun. You will not beat a Z-28 though...

 

yeah i dont think ull be beating the z28's. trust me the sc for a ls isnt a huge power gain. u figure my ls turbo was beating sc gs-r's at track. i say dont get it . build a n20 motor or something. or go ls vtec.
