Steering Problems with Integra...
I have had steering problems for a very long time. I listed the problems and some possible solutions. If you have any other advice, please let me know...thanks...
1. Steering wheel is loose; excess play in the steering wheel, which makes driving uncomfortable.
2. Whenever I hit something irregular in the road such as dips, potholes (big or small), the steering wheel will slightly shift left or right. This happens very often when I am taking turns as well.
3. The steering wheel and car doesn’t seem sturdy or tight enough.
4. Car does not take sharp turns smoothly because any bump in the road affects driving by throwing it slightly of course.
Solutions?
1. Adjusting the steering rack…
2. Replace worn out parts such as rack bushings, tie rod ends, ball joints, wheel bearings, rack-and-pinion, or steering box itself.
