Steering Problem? vibrating?
ok, well i just finished my b18c1 swap into my 91 da. runs fine except when i turn ANYTHING left even just a little bit (including on the freeway at high speeds) i feel vibrating, i thought it was something rubbing but i dont see anything and could find nothing. it happens at low speeds too, like REALLY low speeds like barely crawling, and i can feel it vibrateing when i make left turns. i searched and found some stuff on steering rack stuff, possible? i dont know what it could be, any help would be appreciated. again, its when i turn left only, gets louder the harder i turn left. cant find nething rubbing. (stock sized tires and gsr fat fives) tahnks ahead of tme.
ALso, can it possible be my axel? axel is bout 1 year old Remanufactured. no torn cvboots but when we took them out for the swap my friend kinda pulled on it a bit, possibly bad? and would it cause it to vibrate? thanks!
one more thing
, my car feels a bit sloppy with the steering when im going fast on the freeway, like unpredictable, sometimes it pulls to one side very slightly then i will correct and it will pull to that side hard, like loose or something. thanks!

It sounds like a differential problem.. like you know how when you turn left, your right wheel spins faster than the left, and vise versa, it could be an axel problem..
If the car did not have a differential, the wheels would have to be locked together, and therefore forced to spin at the same speed.
what your car's probably doing is spinning the left wheel faster than the right therefor making it veer to the right every so often, and making left turns difficult

ok, sometimes it vibrates even when im sitting still, i just like you said i acn turn the wheel and it will vibrate, it doesnt veer any direction, just loose steering. but yes, if im sitting still, i can turn the wheels to the left and it will feel like the chassis is shuttering/vibrating/humming
and yes you can feel it. THanks ahead of time

Sounds like a rack or PS pump problem to me. I'd check the belt tension on the PS pump. If you're sitting still and it does it, it can only be the rack or PS pump since nothing else is moving.
its wierd though, cuz it only does it sometimes, i just drove, and it didnt do it. but sometimes it will do it. even if the wheels arent turned it will do it and then get worse as you turn more and more left. then i turn it off, start it up the next day and it doesnt do it. weird. i will check the tension on the belt. how i know how much tension it should have? if its shakeing does that mean its too loose or too tight? thanks!
