starting problems
since ive had this 90 integra it always seems to have a rough start up.takes around 5-10 secs to turn over and start.this morning i went to start it.tried for about 15mins didnt start.then when i got home from school.about 6hrs later it started right up.anyone have any suggestions?
yeah i think im leaning more towards something with the ignition.theres a passenger side cowl leak that drips down onto the floor at the blower motor.any ignition wires there?at ECU right?
Yes the ecu is located on the passenger side. The main harness runs behind the dash and wires are almost everywhere. When it doesnt start. Check for spark and fuel.

now i went to start my car and it didnt start.as ive come to conclusion the car wont start in the damp or in the mornings when theres dew on the ground.what could this be from?
Can you hear the fuel pump prime?
The PGM-FI Main Relay is a common problem in older Honda/Acura, most common "intermittent" problem is cold solder connections on the circuit board, temp. and humidity can have a great effect on it.
To check for a possible problem with the PGM-FI Main Relay do this, first thing in the morning turn the ign. switch on to run, [not start] and listen for the fuel pump, it should run for a few sec. and then turn off.
If you do not hear the pump...

If you do hear the pump, try and start the engine, let it turn over a few times and if it does not start, immediately remove a spark plug and inspect it, look to see if it is wet with gas and/or smells of gas.
If gas is present, fuel is not the problem.
At the same time you pull the plug inspect the spark plug lead, [part inside the spark plug tube] for moisture also remove distributor cap and inspect for moisture inside the cap.
If all the above is good, [no moisture anywhere] check the connections of the coil and ICM inside the distributor assembly, make sure all these connections are clean and tight, you will need to remove them to check the terminals. 94
