Default starting problem!!! HELP!!!

car is a 94 teg GSR.

so long story short, i cranked my car and the rpms went up to almost a cold idle of 2k, and then before even idling, the rpms dropped and the car shut off. after that occurred, i tried to restart the car and all it does is turn over. i checked the plug wires and im getting spark. but the car wont start.

the only thing i can think of is fuel related ie fuel filter, fuel pump, or clogged lines. i may be wrong but i ruled out the timing belt slipping bc when i turn the car over, the cams are turning over as well. the reason i am leaning towards the fuel filter is bc the car had a SLIGHT shudder when applying full throttle at low to mid rpm ranges in any gear. any input is greatly appreciated!

it can be one of two things i've seen happen to my car and my friends sisters car both with the b18a1's my main fuel relay went out which made the car bog out and die from idle sometimes when driving but simple solution for that is find the sensor and give it a tap with a screwdriver and turn the key. second the valves need adjusting my friend daisy's car would only start every now and then but it was because her dad tightened the valves down like crazy and they weren't allowing any air into the combustion chamber just try adjusting your valves its very simple and wont cost you anything. thats just my two cents

take off the bottom plastic under the steering wheel where your legs are there should be two block relay's behind that to check if its your relay its pretty simple with my car if it dies and wont kick over again then since the relay is bad you grab the butt of a screwdriver and tap on it while you turn the key the relay would be the one closer to the firewall i'll try to get some pictures up here later to help you see what im talking about but when you tap that relay and turn the key it trips the relay and the car should start and go on with no problem but i would take care of that problem quick before it starts dying a lot like my car keeps doing i have a week to wait for my new relay and its really something that needs to be done asap.. pm me if you have more questions...
