Starting Issue
So I just recently swapped a ls/vtec motor in my 92 gsr and from a cold start it starts up fine and I have no issues. But the other day I was driving 4 hours to my new place and when I stopped to get gas it wouldn't start so I had a guy push me and just popped the clutch. But the next morning I go out to see if its still dead and it starts right up. Would you guys know what would be causing this starting failure when its hot?
Thanks

check your main fuel relay, it tends to malfunction during the hot season. Check to see if there are cracks in the soldering, if so, you can easily fix it by resoldering it or just replacing it with one from a junkyard. But your problem can be something different, this is just a suggestion.
well its weird that it won't even make a sound or anything but if you push it and pop the clutch then it runs. Thought it would be something in the wiring before something with fuel???
can you hear your starter clicking? it might be your starter going bad~
next time it doesn't want to start, tap the starter with something (that wont break it... ) a couple times and try to start it right afterwards. if it works, the starter is going bad

i dont really know what to say anymore, you can try getting the one for your car i guess? but..... maybe someone else more experienced can chime in. sorry bro
You havent specified this yet, see if everything else is turning on, dash, beeping sound with key in ignition and you hear fuel pump turning on for few seconds.
Then what you should do is keep a bar and hammer in ur car.
If this happens again to you, get that bar and hammer out and put the bar on the starter and hit it not too hard but hard enough like twice.
(Just as DESTRUCTIVE said above)
Then get back in and see if it starts. If it starts back up, then DONT just assume your starter is going bad, cause your starter could be going bad OR one of the wires connected to your starter is lose or corroded where it just snaps on.
So check the GROUND and the other small plug thats connected to your battery that should lead to your starter.
