Starter Upgrades
Hi,
I just purchased a 1996 Integra SE from a family friend. It has an AEM Cold Air Intake with a K&N Filter, DC Sports Header, Brullen Catback, and Vibrant front and rear strut bars.
I know that since all those mods are air and exhaust, the power gain will not be too substantial. I am wondering what other kinds of starter mods I can do to increase the power until I can save up to go for forced induction a couple years down the road.
Maybe Injectors? Intake Manifold?
Any thoughts would be great,
Thanks

i would say that injectors may be something down the road. intake manifold as well.
i'm guessing you have the stock SE motor which is the same as an LS i believe. since you already have intake/header/exhaust, your next best bet might be to get some cams and cam gears. with cam gears beware that you might need to upgrade your valve train. you can also get new spark plug wires along with a msd setup (cap, coil, and box) if you'd like.
you could also consider doing a lsvtec
other than motor wise, i'd say work on your suspension. it's very important because your car's handling is a key. get a good strut and spring/coilover setup installed. you can start to add bars for bling purposes too.

I'm going to say do the suspension. Maybe change to strut bars to the new password 3 point bars or somethin along those lines. A nice coil-over set up like Ground Control and Koni yellows and a nice camber kit
