i recently have had strange problems starting my car... after i got my skunk2 im.. i have cai..intake cam.. as well no tuning has been done... i replaced the spark plugs and gapped them right.. and it still has a really hard time starting... what is the problem... this problem started right after the im... did i hook something up wrong..?

 

well if it started fine when b4 you tuned ur car and now it has problems, i think you did hook something up wrong. i would go back and go over everything step by step and make sure you have everything hooked up right.

 

Check the ground wire on the starter and then the battery. If its not cranking at all then its your starter. Get it rebuilt for like 60-80 bucks, usually comes with 2 year warranty and its stronger than new

 

could it be that i am running lean??? since i have so much air.. and no fuel tunning would that hurt it?

ditto... If something goes wrong after you get something fixed or added on or whatever... that is usually the cause or something in relation to it was the cause. I'm not tryin to discourage you or insult your mechanical aptitude, i'm just tryin to state what happens more often than not. But i've had problems wit my starter and had it replaced... and most of the people i have ever spoken to in regards to a starter problem has experienced symptoms of a bad starter before it totally gave out. So unless your car has had difficulty startin before, then i doubt its the starter my friend... gluck.. and bump
