My 2000 LS does a weird low squeaking noise about every 4 to 10 times at very low speeds. i noticed this yest when i turned the music down. its odd because its not a constant problem. I dont think its the brakes because it does not happen only when i brake... only at very low speeds is when i notice it.

If you hit the brakes somewhat hard, does the noise still occur?

 

mine does that too right now except it happens at higher speeds as well 45+ and it's really freaking loud and annoying. im going to get new pads and rotors to see if that cures it im pretty sure it will. i checked it out today and it looks like i now have a reason to upgrade the brakes.

 

damn how much u think it would cost me?
