squeaking behind cluster

i have this squeaking sound behind my cluster, kind like an squeaky old wheel barrel type squeak. not that i have noticed my speedometer start to giggle a bit when im driving...

could it be the speedo cable?

yep...remove the speedo cable and regrease it with multi-purpose grease.
