Speedometer Problem on a 94 LS

My speedometer simply stopped working... i checked the connection to the transmition and that looked alright. I also tried a different gauge cluster and that didnt help either... So what can be the problem????

Probably a fuse, I would start there.

It could be the speed sensor on the top of the tranny. Mine would work like 25% of the time. Then I pulled it out and cleaned the buildup, worked fine after that.
