Speedometer Lighting.
Half of the speedometer light bulbs blew out and was wondering what tips are there to get out the cluster and to replace the lights without messing up anything. i was thinkin of gettin some white lights or blue.. any idea where to get GOOD CHEAP LIGHTS?? RECOMMENDATIONS. thanks..
dude dont go blue. you will get flamed until the day you die. just leave it white or amber. you can get the bulbs anywhere. its the same as the small bulbs that go in the corner lenses.
to take the cluster out take out the 2 screws on the top underneath the housing. the thing thats goes around the cluster and then there are several screws around the cluster itself. then just unplug it and the bulbs are black little nobb looking things. just twist and pull and they come right out.

I think most auto parts stores will carry these bulbs. Here is mine with blue lights in it. I know some people don't like it, but I am partial to blue.

Your completely right. He shouldn't get what he wants because he is terrified that people on a tech forum might not like it

what ever you do do not get cheap blue 194 bulbs form walmart, autozone, or checker auto cause i got some and put them in my boost, and oil pressure gauges and they were dim to begin with but within one day they faded to a more aqua greenish blue and they looked like crap

i did, theyre very dull. ive ordered a few times from superbrightleds.com, i buy 3 bulbs of 1 color, and 1 always goes bad. so i ordered 1 purple with an order one time, just cause i wanted to see what it was like, and it was kind of dull. but yeah, theres problems with dead bulbs, alkward cutoffs (view angle isnt always good)
what i did after all that trouble was baught some incandescent bulbs from http://www.autolumination.com/ and theyve worked perfect for me so far, right now i have amber, theyre just as bright as the leds, and they look wonderful, plus none of them have gone bad yet.
(and XSIintegra, what kind of cluster is that? is it even a honda?)
(edit) nvm just looked at your sig.
