speedometer dunt work

Default speedometer dunt work

well i pluged up my speedo cable but it still doesn't work...and i dunt' know what is wrong with it
can anybody help me out..it's plugged all the way in also it's a 91 integra

sometimes when you pull the cable out it messes up (since its so old it just falls apart when you take it out). you might need a new cable.

make sure it didn't fall back out when you put the cluster in (i know its kinda tight, so its hard to keep it all together when you put it back in) also make sure the other end is in the tranny.

best bet is to unplug the side from the tranny so you have some
slack to play with when you are putting your dash back in
cause its real hard if you dont do it that way....

good advice, i dont know why i didn't ever think of that.

i guess it seems everytime i mess w/ a DA speedo, the motor is out

i remember my first time I did it like 8 time in order to work and was like for 2hrs
now its on the first try and 15 to 20 mins....

i dont know the background to this, but it quite possibly could be your vss (vehicle speed sensor)
