I have a 90 integra rs with a b20b swap...
The speedo doesn't work but the tach works fine....what could it be I'm new to Hondas any help would be great

 

Speed sensor or cable.

 

That's only for the speed not tach..?

 

Correct. More likely the speedo cable.

 

What do u think not hooked up or faulty

 

Sometimes the VSS can loosen from the trans and slip out of its spot. Happened to my old GSR too - just have to clip it back in and tighten the bolt.

 

So today i took my car to AutoHuaz to see my boy and he told me that ithe car was throwing the code 1 and 17 which is o2 sensor and Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) .... i googled it and it let me to a link showing me how to take it off and clean it... it said it had the cable and two oil hoses along with one 10mm bolt.....once i took the bolt out i was unable to pull it out am i missing something??heres the link i was following https://honda-tech.com/forums/acura-.../#post44842278
