i don't think you're insurance will go up unless u get pull over in-state.
I was registered and lived in NH, and yup.. the DMV knew about it.
so only hope is to take it to court?
anyone in mass have a good laywer for this kinda thing? (cheap please im a poor college kid)
hopw about representing myself
I was passing around a Tractor trailer truck and didnt want to be in his blind side and that was the point at which i was radared up ahead by the cop

That **** never works, stop passing around false information. After 6 months, the check is void and the transaction completes itself in the form of your record being updated. Sometimes your insurance is dumb and doesnt figure out for awhile but that doesn't mean it works(who knows why?). And some really lucky people don't get it on their driving records right away but it will be there eventually. The only feasible way of it working is if it is delayed for 3 years at which time it is posted on your record only to be deleted b/c of the 3 year cycle on driving records. Thus it would "work" in not affecting your insurance rates. Don't count on it though, you can always overpay after you try your hand in court.

As for getting a ticket in another state. I believe it depends on the states involved. I've heard that some states in the same regions have their DMV's linked, but the states in different regions don't; but I don't know how many of these regions there are or where they are. So, there's a chance it will show up on your record, but you might not have to worry about points... I don't beleive your state can assess points for violations in other states, since it's out of your state's juresdiction. But, I'm not an expert, so I can't guarantee anything. Talk to a lawyer to be sure.
try fighting it yourself. Read up on laws and all that. Sometimes you can get off with a plea bargain of traffic school instead of points or something. You might be able to use the excuse that the truck driver was moving over (like had his turn signal on) or something and wanted to get out of the way. Plus, if the cop doesn't show up, the ticket is dropped. That usually doesn't happen though cuz the stupid pigs usually get paid overtime for going to court. HTH.

Thats wierd. I remember getting pulled over going 70 in a 45. I had to pay like $340 for my ticket. Then I just went to traffic school. Never went to court cause I knew I was speeding. My record is clean.
maybe it was 78 in a 45 I cant remember. But I thought for sure traffic school wouldnt cover it. I think the thing about different states is you have to go back there for court.

Hey marshall I think you owe me some $$ for some of those tickets
this is what u do man if ur worried about ur insurence going up and thats it .......then **** the lawyer plead guilty to the ticket mail it in with check...but write the check out for like 5 dollars more then the ticket really it...then dmv will send u a check back for the extra money u paid...take that check and fucken burn it just get rid of it destroy make sure u dont like cash it or anyone else does...if u do this dmv wont process the ticket till u cash that check...so if u dont cash it , ur insurence will never know
yeah i just dont want the points for the ins
I dont really care about paying the fine, it was my stupidity to get caught, but the ins rate that hurts
anyone have numbers to call to get MASS taffic law book? what should i say at my hearing?

If yuo decide to go to court to fight it, i suggest you extend the deadline to turn in the money. I believe there are 2 30-day extensions and then on the day of the deadline, go in and tell them you want to fight it. They will give you another 30 days until you go to court. By then, hopefully the cop will forget about you and not show up. If he doesn't show, you win. I have 9 moving violation tickets within the last 2 years and I did this to all of my tickets and I only have one point.
