Default Speeding

Dont know if this is the right place to post this but.....

Does anyone run a Bell detector with the jamming beam attached to it. I have read an article and it supposedly confuses guns up to 200m before you reach them?

What bands of radar are you trying to jam?

It's illegal to actively jam X/K/Ka bands of radar in almost (if not every state). In any case, I've only heard of one active jammer ever being made, and it only worked on X/K bands, and had inconsistent performance from good to awful. Passive jammers have been proven worthless by countless tests, so it's not worth bothering with one. You can find them in almost any soldier-of-fortune mag or military surplus catalog for a few hundred dollars, or you can buy a plastic box and stick little green lights on it, and you'll get about the same performance.

Laser jamming is another matter. It's legal in most states, and there's several options for it. Most attatch to the front and rear license plates and have a unit mounted in the car that has indicator lights to show when they're jamming an incoming signal. Some of these products actually work and work well, they run about $300-500 last I checked. http://www.radartest.com has a lot of information on these products, http://www.speedzones.com has some too I believe.

I am not sure of the bands but i read about the jamming box in Performance Bikes. It is about 5 in x 1in x 1in. It can be run with/without the detector and is triggered by the incoming signal. The whole package Bell detector with this box and a gatso GPS (a privately run web site in the UK drives five LED's when you approach one of the little un's) cost around 1000 quid or 1500 bucks to you.
I will dig out the article and have a read through the sites that you have sent me. Thanks for the leads.......
