Depends. Are you still on the stock tires. If you are it shouldn't be a problem. The shittier the tires, the easier it is. I chirped in 3rd on my winter tires a few times.

If your running the shitty stock Michelin tire it shouldn't be a problem chirping it into second.

Why the hell did Acura give us such shitty tires?? My car use to slide when it was drizzling!!! So forget the snow!!
What tires do you suggest I get for every day use for the summer/spring and fall? I know that I am going to use Blizzaks for the winter....

Second gear should be easy to chirp, especially on stock tires. When my car had the stock Michelins, I could chirp going into second at only 5000 rpm. You justhave to be quick. And on occasion I could chirp third gear. With my current tire setup though, I can feel the tires just break loose a little going into 2nd, but it doesn't really chirp anymore.

Hello, this is my first post (and a stupid one) but just curious.....is it just me but is it hard to "churp the tires in second gear on a stock gs-r, and does this really mean anything? Sorry for the post but I don't know if I'm shifting wrong or what. HELP!!
