Did Discount Tire screw me?

Did Discount Tire screw me?
I just bought Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max 195/60 R15 tires with the protection warranty for my 2005 Civic 4 months ago and someone vandalized my car and cut my tires. I took the wheels to Discount Tire in my other car to have them replace the cut tires. They gave me no trouble about replacing the cut tires since I bought the warranty. My problem is that they were out of the tires that I originally bought, so they replaced the tires with Road Hugger GT Eco 195 /60 R15 tires and they said that those tires are comparable to the tires I had since they are both in the "better" category. Are those tires comparable, or did they downgrade my tires? Thank you.

They're both ECO-centric tire styles, so they're both focused around fuel and cost savings. From Discount's site, you're looking at $90/tire for the Goodyears and $74/tire for the Road Huggers. Road Hugger brand tires are a DT exclusive brand, and have decent reviews. I would say the tires are easily comparable.

You need to be careful with those Discount Tire shops. A while back, my dad and I went to get a set of stock sized tires for his 4dr Integra. Once we got home, I checked and those shady ***** installed a different size tire than what he paid for. Yeah..that's pretty lame especially when they didn't even mentioned anything about it while we were there.
