Hey guys whats up. Just had a quick question. Has anyone ever had any power loss from a bad speed sensor? About 3 weeks ago my ecu coded for a speed sensor then i cleared it and it never came back on. It's done fine till yesterday. When i'm driving regular i have no issues but when i run it to redline in 2nd gear or higher the speedo bounces from whatever speed i'm really at to 140 or so then finally right near redline it loses all power as if someone was blocking the intake tube of all air flow. I was kind of wondering if maybe it might have hit the speed govenor which was causing the loss of power but honestly i've had it to 150ish or so and its never hit speed govenor before so i don't really think its that. I've just never heard of a bad speed sensor effecting the power of the engine. Oh yeah and even though its doing all this now it doesn't throw a code for the speed sensor. Go figure. I need to replace it obviously but still i was just wondering if anyone has ever encoutered this before. Thanks
