My speedometer and odometer stopped working one day. For no reason, the miles don't change and I have not idea how fast I'm driving. I think its the speed sensor. Anyone had this problem? Where is the speed sensor located? I can't find a replacement part online anywhere. Thanks

 

if its your vss itll throw code 17. if its not throwing a code its probably just your cluster. you can get a cluster pretty cheap...

 

btw, ive had this problem and still do, but my car is reading code 17. i have a new cluster, and i ll let yo uknow what happens when i put it in

 

If you tach and all your other guages are working then its just ur speed sensor. It will throw code 17. I had that problem for 2 weeks then i fixed it by taking a peice off someones sohc speed sensor. You might also wanna check your plug. Btw the speed sensor is located in the back of the trans by the rear cross member right below the throttle body. I priced one from honda and they quoted me about $275 straight from acura. So i would try find a friend with a extra trans or ask any shops they will prolly let one go for 25 bucks
