Speed sensor??
speed sensor fuse is the same fuse under the dash for ELD, alternator, TCM and charging system light. it will blow if you have a bad ground to the negative battery terminal, so i wouldn't assume it's your VSS.

I'd actually DEFINITLY check that. It's a well known fact that Civics and Integras are basically the same car, and the fact that you're car's a GS-R and the TSB is for an Si, both their respective platform's high-performance models, both with OBD-II DOHC B-Series motors, chances are the engine part of the wiring diagrams will be nearly identical... check around the IM for a short to ground.
where is the speed sensor on a 99 civic si b18c1 swap? do you think that since its a swap its gona be in the original spot an si should have or **** this one of those things they have to convert when doing an engine swap. im having trouble with my car i think i might be getting rid of it soon im tired of dealing with the car problems idle problems.......

here's one in a car
what do you mean normal? it should be bolted onto the transmission...maybe you should get someone to find it for you...honestly you can see it with your eyes just by looking down at the tranny

I had this problem on my 98 honda civic. Jack up the car and go underneath and take of the intake manifold support bracket. When you take that off you will see a connector and an open wire. Its really easy and will fix all your problems.
