Full synthetic and synthetic are the same thing. Some brands just say "Full". And you want to use a colder degree plug.

It isn't advised that you switch from conventional to synthetic and visa versa.

Check out this page for numbers/heat range

Way, way back, before any of you were born, synthetic oils developed a reputation for drying-out seals. This reputation is no longer valid, if it ever was.

Nowadays, you can safely use whichever oil you want--mineral or synthetic or a blend--so long as it meets the automaker's specifications. And you can safely swap between one type and the other as you wish.

I will say, though, I am mightily impressed with how sparkly-clean synthetic (Mobil 1) keeps my engine, and I have no plans to switch back.
