Default Solid motor mounts

Thinking about ordering solid motor mounts and solid torque mounts for my integra since I'm going to be doing a engine swap anyways. Thoughts? Some hate em some love em. My friends integra has them I drove it and I liked them.

The "solidness" varies and is known as a duro-meter rating your friend probably had a 60/62A rating. I was dumb and got Hasport 70A mount on mine ultimately was one of the reasons I sold my integra. 70A and above is classed as "race/track use" you can use them on the street but it's not fun. torque mounts are useless if you're running 70A and above save some money

Ah ok junk the torque mounts idea nd I'll save the $60. I'm not sure what rating he has but he ordered them off ebay for about $100 for all 3 mounts.

More then likely yonaka then, keep in mind you get what you pay for innovative makes good ones. But if you like bling go with the Hasport ones they really are great quality but run in the $350 area.

Yeah pretty sure they are yonaka. Not worried about bling haha. 3 mounts for $100 seems like a good deal where as stock motor mounts are near the same price. Engine being swapped anyways so may aswell change out the mounts while I'm at it.

You can also fill your torque mounts with urethane and make them solid yourself. I have mine filled with 65A urethane and they somewhat improved the feel when shifting but increased the vibration inside the cabin of the car. It takes getting used to, but nowhere as severe as having solid engine mounts throughout.

Yeah I've looked into DIY polyurethane mounts. I'm not really worried about the vibration. How long do you think solid mounts will last vs stock mounts. I'm not really sure but I'm guessing there should be a significant difference.

At the very least, they should last as long as a stock set of mounts. Theoretically, they should last longer than a stock pair...I couldn't tell you how much longer as I haven't even put more than 20k on my set.

i have the innovative mounts 94A rating extreme race urethane. They are the highest ones you can get before full solid mounts. They dont vibrate that bad. You will get use to it.

Are you on meth!? 94A not vibrating that bad lol my 70A hasports made the rear view mirror vibrate, I'm sure the 3'' kteller exhaust didn't help but still. For dd even 70A is steep
