He was never actually dealing stolen goods, he was caught in a police "bust" where a car that HAD been stolen was salvaged, and he got the motor for it after recovery.

He is a good guy, and I have bought many things from him with no issue. I say

Wow...for the whole past year, I've been thinking that he was a thief! Glad to know that he was cleared. I've always read about people having good experiences ordering from him before.

yea, im replying to my own message!

well, i dont think i need a fuel tank anymore. im beginning to think its the fuel meter thats messed up. its the little floatie thing in the tank that tells the gas guage how much gas i have. thing is, if its not.. its gonna be an expensive mistake.. the local acura dealer here wants $101.15 for it! if anyone has any hookups and can get me a good price the part number is below!

acura part #: 37800-ST7-003

but if i think about it, it seems more and more like this is the only viable solution. i go until the gas light is on constantly. fill up the tank and only 7 gallons tops off the tank. worth a try albeit an expensive one!

anyone know what it takes to replace the fuel meter? anyone have a helms handy?!
