I have just built ls engine and i have no ides y its smoking. Its not black smoke, its blue like its running rich. when i tore apart the motor i didn't mark the lifters in the correct position they was in. Could that be the problem? someone told be it could the map sensor too but i donno.. Any help would be great, to get this car back on the road

 

Blue smoke would be from burning oil.

 

Y would it be burning oil? i put every thing new back in it.

 

how many miles on the motor since you put it back together?

 

maybe just a mile..i was trying to drive it too my other house. but it wouldn't make it up the hill so i brought it back. i think its out of time or the lifters need adjusting. but that dont explain the smoke..
