Default smog problemsss

soooo i have been deaing with this for a while and now its pissing me off. i went to go get my car smogged thinking i would pass, it passed the emissions test, but not the visual inspection due to my dc sports 4-2-1 ceramic coated header(they should have passed but there is no metal plate with the eo number on it). yesterday i found somebody that had a oem ls header laying around and i installed it and tried to smog it this morning but now it didnt pass the emissions test due to too much
nitrous oxide(im assuming that is what NO stands for). could it be that i didnt tighten everything down enough causing a leak? when i drive i can tell that there is something loose and my dad let his friend borrow our jack so i cant do anything about it. Any help will be much appreciated!.
