Default skunk2 install review.

Whew... installed the manifold sunday night and finished up monday morning. overall impressions. noticed that torque from low and midrange is slightly loss but i noticed gains from top end. one thing for sure ITS LOUD when vtec kicks in. as you know i have itr cams installed. and i have fields vtec controller and vtec is set at 5400k right now, i may raised it up to 5700k . still dont know yet. any suggestions. overall i am very happy with the install to a dual runner to a single runner upgrade. it will help me in the future with my plans. now just gotta get my itr throttle body and jdm header, and cam gears then off to the dyno. here are some pics of my install.

here you can see my cut up AEM cai turned into a short ram. and my diy grounding kit.

here you can see i had to use a different fuel line since the stock one wont have enough slack if you run an aftermarket intake. what i did i took the fuel line from a 93 cx motor and bent the end a little at the fuel filter end.

here is the adaptor fitting for the vaccum lines, the bigger hose is from the evap sensor the smaller one is to the back of the manifold.

one thing that errk me is that skunk2 doesnt make it easier for you if you have an obd2 car. i was tempeted to cut that little nipple off but i opted to plug it up with that doohickey.

here you can see my extend wires i did. since i didnt opt to remove the stock manifold bracket it made some of the wires tight.

and a pic of my daugther.
